04 Feb. 2026 Canadore Volunteer Fair - Main Campus Feb. 04, 2026 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Our club has been invited to particpate in the Canadore College Volunteer Fair at the Education Centre Gymnasium on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4 10am to 3pm. As many of you are aware, we have a very close working relationship with Canadore Collrge including our Wayfinding Fundraisers. The format for the fair will be very similar to the Nipissing U. ones we have done the last 4 years. Our members will stand or sit at our Rotary Nipissing table and welcome students while providing information about our club and Rotary generally. Depending on numbers who sign up to assist, I will split the time period into shifts. Canadore's letter is shown below: You are cordially invited to participate in the Canadore Volunteers – Volunteer Fair, taking place in conjunction with the Employment Fair on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in the gymnasium. Each organization may have up to two representatives in attendance, and lunch will be provided. If you are unable to stay for the entire time, attendance is still welcome. Please just make note of it on the form if you will not require lunch, or send me an email. 04 Feb. 2026 Joint Rotary Meeting at Average Joe's Feb. 04, 2026 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Mark Sherry will be the first guest speaker for a joint Family of Rotary meeting to be held at Average Joe’s on Wednesday Feb. 4th at noon. Mark is a serial local entrepreneur who has been personally involved in starting at least 12 North Bay enterprises which have been instrumental in his journey of championing local business. He has a personal blog entitled “Confessions of a Serial Entrepreneur” that is very entertaining which I highly recommend you check out before his presentation. Our rationale in having a joint meeting is to provide a wider audience for our guest speaker so we are looking for a good in person turnout. Please RSVP by Jan 28th if you will be attending in person, so we can let the restaurant know. You can also register your guest online.
